this weekend was insanely hectic, with a very very good outcome.

friday night garrett and i went to june’s birthday party at bill’s house. we didn’t really know anyone, but it was totally fun. i got lots of compliments on my haircut from total strangers, which is a nice post-haircut-freakout deterrent.

saturday i got up early to go to the dmv, wait 3 ½ hours and meet a cute boy, all because i had to change the title of my new car into my name. went home, got some cleaning done and fell back asleep. later, we went to the goodfoot for bill’s first real night back in town. a rather large group of us all moved to the watertrough to meet anna, garnett, jason, lisa and danger. jason was so drunk he couldn’t even stand up, and yelled at people a lot.

sunday garnett and i had lunch and then sam came over for car fun. he was just supposed to transfer my stereo from the van to the tracker, but then i mentioned that i was taking the tracker for a tune up the next day. he looked at it, we went to schuck’s, he did the tune up for me and refused to let me give him any money. i spent $53 on something i had expected to cost $250. it was awesome. it always makes me a little nervous letting friends work on my car (cause they’re not professionals). but then garrett reminded me that sam is a professional. i love friends with specialized, practical skills!
