portland is ridiculous right now. three straight days of snow, then freezing rain, and the city has absolutely no idea how to deal with it. it's impossible to get down our front steps, much less down the street. everything around our house is just a solid expanse of ice.

work has been cancelled since wednesday. we're supposed to go in tomorrow, which is actually not that bad since i've had three days off in a row.

i just want to get my new car and get comfortable driving it already, so i can stop waiting an hour in the freezing wind for the stupid bus!
